We had a particularly exciting and competitive trivia night at The Back Door Bakery Cafe this week, with the lead changing hands three times in the final three rounds!
Duck, Duck, Goose was flying high in the early stages, but a well-executed double-or-nothing strategy in round 5 shifted the lead to Team of Won. The Ducks and Geese came roaring back (okay, quacking back) in round 6, only to be overcome by Hodge Podge with a successful double in the decisive final round.
And what of Shaina Maidelas, you ask. Well, they were close. Very close. But when team leader Deborah departed early due to illness, the Maidelas were unable to overcome the loss and settled for 4th place.
