It was a terrific night of fun, frivolity and exciting trivia action this week at The Back Door Bakery Cafe in Sunland/Tujunga. With recent top performers Jen Kennings out of the picture on a road trip of some sort, Shana Maidelas asserted themselves with gusto, and took first place with an impressive performance.
But Duck Duck Goose didn't make it easy for the Maidelas. The DDG crew finished in second place, just two points behind the leaders. Two points! Man, that was close! Good job, Duck-and-Goose crew!
King Trivia Tournament of Champions stalwarts Hodge Podge returned to the winners circle with another strong performance, and Team of Won also did very well despite missing the first two rounds and playing as - well - a team of one!
The evening's festivities also included a fair dollop of disrespect for the quizmaster throughout the night - and we wouldn't have it any other way.
