When Sportania, Goddess Of All Ball Sports, scanned her schedule for which teams were going to win or lose over the next week, she noticed that one team in particular, the Centauri Centurians, were about to win a huge title again like they had the previous year. That win was especially memorable because it got them an invitation to a friendly dinner with Leader Killbot, the most popularly ignorant of all political leaders in the history of living things. Killbot, though crass, oafish and proudly inarticulate, was the most vocally supported by the most reliably unknowledgeable people in the history of all unknowledgeable people. Such was Killbot’s allure over his victims (and his fans could be described in no other way than victims) that, should the Centurians win the Universe Series Of Baseball for the second year in a row, it would surely guarantee yet another visit to the Blight House, the centuries-old domicile that all previous leaders had inhabited but that Killbot was currently demolishing so he could install in its place a giant trough urinal for all his supporters to use at the upcoming 110th Millionth Annual Brainless Bonehead Bonanza. So Sport (to her friends) moved some numbers around for the next day’s Universe Series score, thus giving a 6 to 6 tie to the Mars Llamas and the Centurians, which then canceled any obligation to dine with Killbot, much to his impotent consternation. Here’s the point: Not once tonight at the Glendale Tap did any team score less than zero. Let’s talk!

The drinking round was won handily by Boogie Down in a daring display of guessing high or low when I asked: “High or low?” Free drinks!
