QUIZ RECAP

Despite all my papers being dropped in the rain and falling into a deep puddle stream (realistically a flood that swept them away), I kept my head held high. As Future stated, "One monkey don't stop no show. Never have." And indeed my show went on just as beautiful and marvelous beyond my own expectations or beliefs. Last night was the first spectacular night at the lab and let's just say it came in with a bang. The entire night we had tons of "Oooouuu's and Ahhhhh's" when the answers and scores we announced. Not only does that type of love from participants melt my heart, but due to the rainy predicament I was in last night it truly made me feel appreciated! The teams were all super vibrant, and there's an ironic story to kick off the first night ever. The first place winning team came up to me after the game and stated that they just stumbled across the venue on the first night it ever had trivia. And one of the phenomenal members of the group shared that she's a trivia leader within her own program at USC. Really ?!? What are the odds? I was in awe, it's literally the craziest things in life like happening to walk into a place and actually win first place with no original expectations of actually doing so. Congrats to everyone who played last night in my eyes were all winners especially for pushing through in the rain. Oh, in addition to all the excitement we even had a tie breaker! How much more exciting can a game become? What a night, can't wait to see all your beautiful faces next Wednesday and remember watch out for those dangerous pretzels because they can cause you to choke. HAHAHA, continue to live your best lives!
