The Lion & Crown Pub, an English-style pub with a large and varied menu, is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. serving lunch, dinner and daily specials. The pub also offers a wide selection of fine wines and 38 beers on tap. Guests can watch sporting events on one of the many large TV screens or enjoy a nice night out on the patio. Different drink specials are available every day and live music on Friday and Saturday.
King Trivia! Lion and Crown! Eleven teams! Forty-eight players! No waiting! That was
the atmosphere last night as our favorite pastime collided with our favorite people. Great
quiz, too; Though some players prefer getting the answers right, the questions that make
one wrinkle one's brow and scratch one's cap fill the heart and the head with much more
satisfaction than easy victory. At least, that is this Quiz Master's opinion. After all,
if everybody Double's down, then scoring means little.
The up and coming Smart Asses took home the gold with a narrow but well deserved 44 point
win. Beer Logic, rock steady, held second place with 42 while Pickles on a Plate marinated
40 points into third.
