QUIZ RECAP

The quiz at the pub went well last night with eight teams on the 

roster.  A good turn out despite the wet weather.  We're starting 

to see more of our older teams returning to their old stomping 

grounds again as evidence by Binge Thinking's (love that team 

name!) presence. 

Three newbies joined the fray.  The Keen Team pulled a major 

surprise during the Guess Who Round by getting the 10 Point 

Clue on the first try.  Turns out the lovely old woman out for 

a lark with her grandson grew up in Paul Newman's neck of the 

woods!  How's that for a cosmic co-inky dink?  FNG had fun but 

finished last while KSA kicked some asphault and took home third 

prize!  

The Boolers should have known better but went for broke on a 

Double-or-Nothing and ened up in seventh place while Velvet 

Hammered landed just outside the winner's circle. Pickles on a 

Plato snagged second and Ship It!, enjoying a winning streak, 

captured first again this week!  

The Theme Round seemed to be the one that perplexed all but the 

most literary minded as it delved into the details of the Brothers 

Grimm and their fairy tales.  Nevertheless, more than one team 

knew that Dame/Mother Gothel was Rapunzel's captor.  However, 

style points went to guesses such as The Big Chungus and Heath 

Ledger.
