The VIBE:

As this is only my 3rd gig hosting, I'm starting to notice that - much like a snowflake - every single week is completely different. By some crazy coincidence, every table that was present wanted to play. Ok, there were a few stragglers at the bar who started - but perhaps were too drunk to even spell T-R-V-I-Ah anyways, let's get to it!!

The teams all had a rowdy edge to them. I like that. I find boring people...well, boring. These were not boring people. They were shouting out the answers when I was giving them (Not beforehand! Nooooo, never. That's against Rule #1! Are you crazy?!) and keeping the spirit of competition Blake Lively.

The GAME:

Everything was pretty cool and calm until We Miss You, CIP! caught everyone off guard and doubled-up in Round 3! No other team even attempted to double-up....oh wait, that's a lie. One team tried and learned the hard way. I won't reveal who that was....but let's just say that it was A team who was playing A game at A bar. It's okay. They're cute, so hopefully they won't hAte me too much.

The Drinking Round was a hit! In honor of March Madness, I had them shoot paper balls into tumblers. We Miss You, CIP! was on point with that acrobatic task....although there was some fierce paper ball tossing by some of the others. Yay for sports.

The RESULTS:

After realizing that they couldn't close down the others, Farside closed down their tab and left with a respectable 15 points.

The Aquamarine Bayous fought a good fight racking up 22 points.

Rhythm Spirit & The A Team had 27 points each .....so I broke them up with a (yay for more sports) tie-breaker round......with Rhythm Spirit taking the 2nd place $15 and The A Team their $10 gift card.

But even after the extra beers (which the others secretly hoped would slow them down) We Miss You, CIP! were crowned with $25 and the grand champions with a total of 41 points!!

Oh. If there was one silly, silly complaint everyone had it was "Can you please change Round 7? None of us watch sports."

To which I replied, "I don't work here."
