QUIZ RECAP

The night started off strong with creativity flowing from our trivia teams! Names such as Karens With Attitude, the Truth Squad, and Back Like the Mask Mandate had everyone rolling with laughter. 

While everyone settled in and throughout the game, they jammed out to a Dad Rock style playlist that brought people back to their Emo Phases. Someone even said they'd never left! 

The questions kept everyone on their toes and working their brains; even bringing up a quippy banter about how it hurt their brains and how the bar wasn't responsible for any brain damage. Overall, the crowd was super enthusiastic and engaged tonight and there were bouts of laughter all throughout the game. 

Everyone practically lost their minds at the memory of Happy by Pharrell and that "the song title invoked the exact opposite emotion" every time it played on the radio at the time it released.

The Penny Tap House here in San Angelo was filled with people just looking to have a laugh and good fun and who put their best minds to work, even on a difficult picture round and connection round. There was no sort of goofy guesses for the pictures, such as Dr. Phil, Martha Stewart, and Samuel L. Jackson all being funny, but incorrect answers. 

No one was afraid to put their worst and funniest guesses out there in the spirit of the game, which kept the mood light and the excitement alive. The true spirit of trivia! 

To conclude a wonderful celebration to making it to the middle of the week, everyone gave a drumroll in anticipation of the top three and gave good natured jeers and jests to close out the evening and raise excitement for another Wednesday Trivia Night at the Penny Tap House.
