They grew up together, became life-long friends and pursued their own ambitions. But they shared a deep love for their hometown and dreamed of one day opening a restaurant together where they could share good food, good drinks and reminisce about good times. The Recess Room is their childhood dream come to life.

The evening started with two teams, and ended with four! I'm assuming it was because everyone was out doing their civic duty -- good on you guys!

The Thirsty Pretzels were our big winners tonight, impressively doubling down on two rounds and getting the 10-point Adam Sandler clue (show-offs!), and it was all smooth sailing from there. Home Team came in second and claimed that free Recess Room appetizer! Who's the Boss? was holding their breath for that third place win. Despite doubling down incorrectly with only one wrong answer in Round 5 (I felt your pain, guys!), they scored that $10 gift card with only two points ahead of Young G turns 33!

Shoutout to everyone for not making fun of me as "macabre" became harder to pronounce every time I said it -- I'll blame it on the beer sneaking up on me instead of just really overthinking it. Hah!
