QUIZ RECAP

Since the Quizmaster's birthday is on Sunday, she was so excited to make this week aaaaaall about her... only to be upstaged by a Wooden birthday! It's an honor to share a birthday week with such a fun, loyal, and generous team -- almost everyone was able to get a slice of cake!

Saw some new faces here at the Recess Room! Jamaican Me Crazy was certainly not new to King Trivia, though -- he did great for being by himself, but he's gotta bring some serious backup to properly take down the locals. And Thumb Holes were first-time King Trivia players, though this couldn't have been their first pub quiz rodeo! They came in third place on their first night here, as well as a free appetizer for being the first team to correctly guess the Louvre as our Guess Where? of the week!

After weeks of cheating on the Quizmaster, The Implication dared to show their fifty zillion faces again, but ended up tying with birthday crew Knock On Wood for fourth in spite of their enormous quantity of brains. Better luck next time we see you guys [maybe, what, three months from now?].

Ava's Minions were too unsure of themselves to double down on their losing presidential candidates, but that's what would have saved the game for them. They were BARELY bested to the surprise and relief of Thirsty Pretzels, who probably got more lucky on their highest grossing tours than anything else.
