What a great evening!
Our trivia crew consisted of 5 teams this week - the Home Team, Ava's Minion's, Kliev, Church of Quizentology, and Sharks on the Ark. Some were new and some were vets, but it was a tight race to the finish!
In round 1, Ava's Minion's and Church of Quizentology got ahead of the competition by doubling down and gaining 12 points for the General Knowledge round. Moving into the Picture Round, trivia participants had to identify each shark from "Shark Tank" - my personal favorite was someone guessing Kevin O'Leary was Dr. Phil! They do kind of look similar. After that round, the Church of Quizentology took the lead of 19 points, with Ava's Minion's trailing right behind at 16 points.
In round 3, the Theme Round, Ava's Minion's and Church of Quizentology stayed steady in their scores. However, The Home Team began to trail them a bit. In Round 5 and 6, The Home Team successfully doubled down, gaining 40 extra points.
In the end, the Home Team came in first place, with Ava's Minion's in 2nd and Church of Quizentology in 3rd.
Regardless of scores though, a fun night was had and we even cheered for the Dodgers together!
