Welcome back to our recap of the week! First off, I need to address the false alarm regarding the possible spells being cast last week. As you know by now, everything turned out fine, no chickens, if anything we may have actually cast a spell to clear the rain that was forecast. Not a drop fell as we all reunited for our King Trivia night at the Stalking Horse. This game involved our all-stars, all the teams have all placed at some point, with due respect to The Clubbers. Though this team of lovely ladies played a great game, they had to leave us before they could finish the 7th round; please come back to join us again! Those Brogan Roback's Battlehawks came back hungry for a win, and boy did they earn it, along with the win for the drinking round! Being Mar10 day, I gave my teams 60 seconds to name as many characters from the entire Super Mario franchise as they could, while I played the Super Mario Bros. running out of time song clip. Without the assistance of his fellow Brogans, one Battlehawk took the task on alone, and wrote 20 different characters in total! It was quite the sight to see, folks; I've never been bird-watching before, but now I get it! Cheers and "Kaaw!" to you BRB's! In the second place those Gruseome Twosome took their crowlers home with pride! Winning a pitcher of beer for their next visit, in third place was the Rain Dear Games. A big thank you and congratulations to the rest of our all-stars: Modelo Virus, Shut Up We're Wizards, and Team Log, for a great game played.
