QUIZ RECAP

Ultmate rivalries of three have lasted for the entirety of our existance as a species: Iron-man vs. Thor vs. Captain America, cursive vs. print vs. Spanish, Earth vs. every other planet in our solar system. Case in point: this Monday at the Whiskey Lounge was no different, with three teams facing off with Quizmaster Dan to prove who could reign supreme in the bar trivia department.

A quick lead could not stop our reigning champions, Team Pup N Suds (the same could not be said for Dan's fantasy football team; darn you, James Conner)! They came out, guns blazing, to take an early lead and could quite simply not be stopped. Second place, though, was a different story, with our two remaining teams, Canadian Bacon and Glutton for Funishment, duking it out with a tie going into the last round! Luckily for Glutton, their geography knowledge was top tier, and they secured second place with a very impressive 8 point round 7. Congratulations to our first and second place teams, they'll be going home with 30 and 20 dollars (respectively) to the best bar in town, the Whiskey Lounge.

If you like trivia, come on out to the Whiskey Lounge every Monday at 6:00(ish). Quizmaster Dan is spinning rad questions back to back to back for all the trivia wannabes in the greater Los Angeles area to test their knowledge. Will our reigning champs be back to defend their title? Will Glutton for Funishment take a walk on the wild side and get gluttonous for our next game? Will Canadian Bacon (without pineapple) return to attain the elusive status of a top-2 team finish? Tune in next week to find out!
