QUIZ RECAP

After a crappy day, is there anything better than having some beers with friends to lift your spirits? UUUUH YEAH! Having some beers with the crazy King Trivia players over at The White Harte!!! I knew from round 1 that it was gonna be a competitive game, when I had to exercise rule #3... THE QUIZMASTER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Sometimes I'm lenient, and sometimes I'm strict. If you put "Louie XVI" instead of "Louie XIV" you might get a point (I'm not that great with roman numerals) but if you put "Fission" instead of "Cold Fusion" eeeehhh...not so much.

Returning champions "The Cunning Linguists" claimed 1st again! What is this 3, 4 weeks in a row now? Damn guys, let someone else win!

Newcomers "Bob"  snuck up and grabbed 2nd with back to back doubles in the final rounds! AND grabbed some free drinks in our "Kiss My Ass" drinking round where I had teams say something nice about me to pick up my spirits a little. (As I said I had a shitty day.)

Coming in 3rd was team "VOLTRON!" 5 mini lion bots came together to form 1 super bot! According to Vanessa, that's worth 3 minutes, but in this case its worth 10 bucks baby!  Yeah, that was a Deadpool reference, I'm a nerd and I'm proud!
