QUIZ RECAP
- I'm certainly glad that having an hour sucked away from their lives by DST didn't stop an AMAZING bunch of King Trivia players to join in on my shenanigans at The White Harte! How awesome were those players you might ask? Well, they ALL got perfect scores in Round 6! All but 1 team doubling down! They also were so awesome that they didn't give me too much crap for having to try and say "Amnesiac Assassin" something like three times. Hey! New tongue twister! "The amnesiac assassin and arthritic arsonist attack an apothecary!" Please don't ask me to try that at the next show!
Since Sunday is St. Patrick's Day, I figured I'd have our drinking round be "There Once Was A Man From Nantucket!" Where teams wrote a limerick! There were a lot of really great ones, but The Los DAWGS won with "There once was a trivia master, who entertained us while we got plastered, he asked us questions, but never did he mention, we're in first place..THAT BASTARD!" Proving that flattery won't get you everywhere, but it might get you some drinks!
Coming in 3rd Place tonight, a team new to KT at The White Harte and from what I heard, mostly new to each other as well, participating in a "meet up." I think that's a fantastic idea and these lovely ladies made a fantastic team! The Trivia Vixens!
Coming in 2nd Place, our drinking round winners The Los DAWGS! Who couldn't quite decide on which language to use for their team name, but sure as hell knew how to answer some questions!
Tonight's Champions! They were the first to double and nail it. The only team not to double downing round 6, but they didn't really need to due to their continuous high scores. They obviously went to some high end colleges... or at least studied at UCLA's Felicity Huffman Library! ... Wait... WHAT?!
