14 teams came out to play King Trivia at Thunderbird tonight competing to see who would be going home in first place as the MOST smartest! "LBJ 4 MVP" and "Show Me Your Kitties" ended Round 1 in the lead with 7 points a piece. "Turkey Dinner," "Dan Mitchell Is Still at Costco," and LBJ" all tied at the end of Round 2 with 12 points each. "LBJ" was delivered and upset in Round 3 when they tried to double their score by marking the Double or Nothing box with an "x" but didn't answer ALL the questions correctly which caused them to score a big ole "0" for the round. "Cardinal Rosenberg" won the drinking round when they were the closest at guessing the year Dr. Pepper was introduced. "Almost Third" guessed our "Guess What" Round on the 10 point clue! "Cardinal" also received a perfect score on our handout matching round, Round 6. Our final round had some last minute Double or Nothing efforts from a few teams for a final attempt at grabbing a lot of points. Unfortunately, all the teams who went for it busted. In the end, "LBJ 4 MVP" won FIRST place and $30 in Thunderbird chips. "Miley Corona Cyrus" came in SECOND place and $20 in Thunderbird chips. And we had a tie for third between "Turkey Dinner" and "Cardinal Rosenberg." "Cardinal" was the closest to our tie-breaking answer gaining one point ahead of "Turkey Dinner" placing them in THIRD place with $10 in Thunderbird chips.
