Wow! I arrived back from a two week hiatus and there were several teams who greeted me. It's wonderful to be recognized as your trivia host as we started things off with our favorite segment....

************Fun Fact of the Week***************

That's right it's everyone's favorite part of the night: The fun fact of the week. On this day, 79 years ago, the Bracero Program was initiated to allow mexican workers to replace the farm labor during world war two. The program was so successful that it lasted for 22 years; long after WWII had ended. The promise of great wages, free housing, and insurance lead to over 4.6 million contracts over the program's existence. 

Despite the warm welcome of familiar faces at the front door, we still had some new faces. Hello and welcome! We sincerely hope you enjoyed your night here at The Tilted Mash here in Elk Grove hosted by me 🙂 I'll admit it was fun watching the answers to so many trivia questions be on the tips of your teams' tongues, and the satisfaction so many felt while I read off your correct answers. I especially loved the animal science round. Shoutout to king trivia question writers! There was two way tie for second in the final round with a large gap over third. Don't Panic surprised even themselves taking home the first place imaginary trophy and the very real two four-packs.
