Uptown Hophouse kept it real spicy this Thursday, with some hotly contested answers and at least one invocation of Rule #3: The Quizmaster is Always Right.
Hophouse regs A Team Has no Name took a commanding lead from the get-go and never gave it up, ending the game in 1st place and a cool 10 points ahead of second-place finishers Money Dance.
Money Dance chose to forfeit their prize and handed it over to Chidee Thappar, who put up a fight all evening and came in at a very close third.
Further on down the leaderboard, Astro in da House gave Chidee Thappar and Money Dance a run for the money, almost squeaking out a third-place finish in the second-to-last round.
Previous week winners Queen Anne's Finest took home the (highly subjective, highly unofficial) prize for 'most entertaining,' although they were never successful in stealing the Quizmaster's mic. Nice try, guys.
Girls on Top, Slugfish, and Inflammable means Flammable all put up a spirited fight. This bar has some strong contenders -- it's no doubt that it's anyone's game next week.
