QUIZ RECAP

It was my first (and hopefully not last) time hosting at this lively pizza joint in the heart of beautiful downtown Davis and it proved to be a serious battle of wits amongst our teams. Rounds ranged from famous scientists to high fiber cereals (which reminds me to pick up a box of Poop Like a Champion ASAP). Multiple teams saw themselves at the top of the board over the course of the night, including Gobi Nation, Sevenfivechix, Bhummus, Section 10, and Chalubey. After our penultimate round, which featured the phrase Thank You in various languages, it was a dead heat amongst our top teams. It all came down to a round about that great entertainment juggernaut of our time, Marvel movies.

When the dust settled, team Bhummus took the coveted top spot of the night along with a $50 gift card to Woodstock Pizza. Teams Sevenfivechix and Section 10 took second and  third place respectively along with a $25 gift card each. Come around on Thursdays at 9:00 for delicious pizza, cold drinks, and the kind of camaraderie that can only be forged between individuals that have tested their trivia might and come out the other side (mostly) unscathed.
