QUIZ RECAP

We had 36 teams and 165 players join us for a big night of trivia along with a fundraiser for the UCSC Model UN Team! We also had Guest Host Isabel lead us through several rounds with a wonderful welcome from our teams. After Round 1, we had a 4-way tie on the podium between Tiny Dancers, Super Weenie Hut Jr, Sneak Attack, and DIG IT! In Round 2, we went all in, and Super Weenie Hut Jr won the pot, with Angry IINCHES in 2nd, and Tiny Dancers in 3rd. Round 3 covered everything from the Nobel Prize to Blue Steel vibes, with a special prize donated from the Model UN Team going to the team in the lead at the end of it - Super Weenie Hut Jr! Angry IINCHES and Tiny Dancers held 2nd and 3rd respectively. In Round 4, four teams got the name correct at the 10 point level, so congrats to Team Horse Art, Straw Hat Pirates, 3 Brown & 1 Whitey, and Super Weenie Hut Jr, who of course stayed in 1st, while The Nuthouse took over 2nd and Sneak Attack snuck into 3rd. In Round 5, eight teams found the connection, so shout out to: Swagmaster 3000, Spongebob Squarepants, Tiny Dancers, Team Horse Art, Sneak Attack, Banana Slutz, 8==D, and 10 Baby Sharts. Round 6 was nice and sweet… and in some cases nutty. Super Weenie Hut Jr stayed on top, with Straw Hat Pirates hot on their trail in 2nd, and The Nuthouse going crazy in 3rd. And then in Round 7, it all came down to sports. 3rd place went to Team Horse Art, and in a shocking upset to the scoreboard, Super Weenie Hut Jr got taken down in the final stretch and landed in 2nd place, with the top prize going to The Nuthouse! There would have been a showdown between several teams for the Best Team Name prize, but a few of them left just after submitting Round 7 so Banana Slutz won without a fight.
