About Ale Industries

In 2009 Ale Industries set out with a rebellious spirit, an environmentally-conscious endeavor striving to spread the blissful experience of a craft. We unapologetically refuse to let our beers be categorized into styles, types, or profiles because we believe it relegates our vision of craft beer from a verb to a noun, from a spirit to a product.

 

We pioneer brewing technologies to save energy and reduce waste because we understand that investing in the environment will nurture the communities we care about, allowing them to flourish and grow. Oakland, California is our home, where we aim to foster connections with our neighbors and friends.

 

Ale Industries is not just in the business of "producing craft beer." Ale Industries is for the preservation of craft beer and its founding principals: challenging both your and our notion of what beer is, can, or should be.

A Spooky night at Ale Industries with a Halloween themed question set and be-costumed contestants ready to throw down for gory glory. It was anybody's game until a wave of double or nothing bets (both successful and unsuccessful) were placed and the pack was swiftly separated. From then on out, it was a tough fight with Lisa Sux edging out a one-point victory over Team Long Dog.

Even with the World Series, a Warriors game, and bathrooms that were under construction, we still had an amazing showing at Ale Industries tonight and the teams came ready to battle. I'm Drunk looked to be the favorite again out of the gate, but Spitfires were having none of it, and with their team bolstered with new members, they pulled ahead and kept the lead right to the finish line. Special mention to newcomers, Free Refill who finished a respectable third on their first time out. Kudos!

The air was heavy with competetive spirit at Ale Industries tonight. Even the dogs came ready to play! As for humans, it was a solid mix of veterans and newbies who showed up to throw down their useless knowledge in the hunt for glory. An even start gave way quickly to a two way battle for first place between veteran team, "I'm drunk", and newcomers, "Lisa Sucks!". In the end, I'm drunk (and I'm not sure this is something he should be proud of), was able to name more Baldwin brothers than anyone else and come away with the victory. I mean, really, if you remember Daniel, I guess you deserve to win.
