American has a great atmosphere for a friendly Trivia competition! It's a newer King Trivia venue, but there are already a couple teams who are planning on becoming regulars.

Another beautiful evening of competition at Americana.
I took great joy in scoring our visual round about movies adapted from the work of Stephen King. I'm a big fan, and clearly many of our competitors were as well, I was impressed how many recognized The Running Man, did people actually see that movie?
Through two rounds the game was very close with only a 5 point differential. However round three, two different teams succeeded on a double or nothing attempt, pulling away from the pack. Tokyo Banana, and Criminally Negligible were neck and neck all evening long. Most rounds only one point separated them. It all came down to our final round about the Great Plains states. I guess Criminally Negligible paid more attention in geography because they eeked out a two point victory.
Honey smacks had a lovely dog on their team, but it wasn't Goose from last week. Where's Goose?!
I would be remiss if I didn't mention cockbone in this recap. After the game the members of team cockbone insisted that their name wasn't simply there to be vulgar. They have apparently encountered 2 lawyers by the names Cock and Bone... the law offices of Cock and Bone? I will cherish this anecdote for the rest of my days.

It is proving difficult for any competitors to match the brain power of Goose. That dog seems to always will his team to victory. He is not unlike the canine trivia version of Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. They have the same smile.
Goose led A Really Good Trivia Team Name to a dominant victory thanks to some early double or nothing success. Goose and company nailed the picture round Pixelated Pugilists, and had the rest of the teams playing catch up all night.
Tokyo Banana, and Kojack Norsemen wracked their brains valiantly, but couldn't overcome the brain power of Goose. This week.
