In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.

Well that was tubular! Undeniably, the most far out 80s Day Angel City Brewery has ever seen! Could you die? Gag me with a spoon!

Okay, tackiness aside, What an amazing day! It was an 80s themed trivia day and the general familiarity enticed a LOT of teams (SEVENTEEN TOTAL) and encouraged a ton of reckless behavior.

For instance, team Short Circuit City nailed the Guess Who round five seconds after the ten point clue began. Damn, that has to be a record, right? Total Joe Montana moment.

In less fun news, we had our own little Iran-Contra affair- Team Garza was found smuggling in answers from the outside (re:cell phone) and had to be disqualified immediately. Shout out to the Chuckle Chasers for keeping it just and fair.

There was also a TON of wild doubling left and right. For teams like Detective Peek-a-Jew and Sir Digby Chicken Caesar, this panned out for crazy high scores! Less so for some teams that awkwardly remained in single digits. Gambling isn't for everyone folks.

Nevertheless, congrats to our players and have a wonderful weekend! See you next Saturday!
