We had a great game this week and some stiff competition!

We played a modified round of quarters for the drinking round. Each team had a chance for one team member to bounce as many quarters into a glass in a row as they could. 2 Girls 1 Guy were able to get 2 in a row, but Brian Sucks took the win with 3 in a row. They got a free round of beer for their team.

From Round 1, Drunk in Public killed it this game. They used their Double or Nothing power a few times, launching them to the top spot. And even though that cost them any points they might have gotten in Round 6, the other teams couldn't quite catch up. They took the win, and the $30 gift card. Their closest rivals, Brian Sucks, took the second place win, and a 4 pack of beer.

Another great night of trivia at Arrow Lodge!

We started a little after 7 because our teams were all running a little late, but we happily had 10 teams playing by the time we closed submissions on Round 1. It was a tight game throughout, with a couple upsets when teams used the Double or Nothing to double their points in a round.

Since we started a bit late, we did a simple luck of the draw for our Drinking Round, which was won by team Bubble Guts!

The final round determined our top three. The Know Nothings landed 3rd place and $10 off their tab. Cheers eeked out the second place win and a 4-pack of beer. And newcomers Las Tóxicas stole the top spot and that coveted $30 gift card. And yes, I did draw that scarily accurate picture of the second team member who didn't want her picture taken. You're welcome.

QUIZ RECAP

So happy to be back at Arrow Lodge this week after my brief vacation. It was a full house tonight filled with plenty of new teams as well as familiar faces. 

For the drinking round tonight we did a modified version of flip cup where I timed each person to see who could complete a flip in the shortest amount of time. It was a sight to see and some of these competitors were really good at flip cup! We had one team get it in 1.6 seconds, one in 0.8 seconds, and our winning team, 4 Gays 1 Cup were able to successfully flip their cup in 0.6 seconds!

It was a pretty high scoring game with our 3rd place team, Ghost in the Machine earning 41 points and earning a $10 discount on their tab. Drunk in Public took the second place spot with 45 points, and took home a 4 pack of beer. And the in top spot, the undefeated 4 Gays 1 Cup took home another $30 gift card with a whopping 56 points this game.
