Good crowd for tonight's trivia at Ave A Bar & Grill!

Round 3:  All questions/answers contained a Billy or a Gene.  ...Including Billy Bob Thornton, Gene Simmons, and Billy Graham!

Round 5:  All teams were able to 'Find the Connection'!  Answers all contained a reference to playing cards (Ex: Burger King, Ace Ventura, Jack Palance, and The Joker.

Team Olive and the Pits completed another nice win tonight.

'Spuds Mackenzie' was brought up tonight!  Round 3 was all about beer.... Bud Light in this case.  Anheuser-Busch was originally called "Bavarian Brewery".  "Zymurgy" is the study of fermentation.

In Round 6, teams were asked to match the Wedding Anniversary to the traditional gift.  7 of the 10 was the most, which is impressive.  Several South Redondo streets got a mention...Ruby, Diamond, and Pearl!

Team Olive's Zoo (pictured) once again took home the top prize with very impressive play.

Sometimes two-person teams really know their stuff during trivia night. Such was the case at Avenue A in Redondo Beach on Tuesday night, when the two-person powerhouse Shut Up + Drink overtook the six-person strong Victorious Secret to win 1st by a single point!!! Love it when the unsuspecting team ends up in the lead - great job Shut Up + Drink and come back next week for more fun trivia at Avenue A!
