QUIZ RECAP

This was my favorite type of trivia tonight... there wasn't even a double attempted until round 6, so just about every team was in the hunt for a prize almost till the end!

Kangaroo Jax were one of the 2 teams that managed a successful double in round 6, and that proved to be the difference to get them the $100 prize! Strong showings from Bad News Barristers and Honey Beer-o-notices got them the $50 and $25.

Another competitive evening of trivia... Urban Achievers ended up holding off the Pasadena Peeps to maintain 1st place and win the $100 gift card despite only being able to name 1 of Ron Howard's last 10 films in Round 7. We Always Come From Behind lived up their name, making a dramatic move from 6th place to 1st in the Find the Connection round, they slipped again in round 6 but still won the tie breaker against Intravenus de Milo to take 3rd place. And congrats to Bad News Barristers for some excellent dart throwing to win the free pitcher of beer in the drinking round.

It was another night of ups and downs for many teams. Intravenus de Milo looked to be in command all night until a last round double by Team Name pushed their team until the lead. That last round double by Urban Achievers was also allowed them to push past several teams that thought they should have finished in 3rd place.
