QUIZ RECAP

Well it was a bit of a quiet night on the patio, temps are cooling down but we had a nice time. It was the fourth night of Diwali, which also happened to be the social media question, so for the drinking round I had them write as many of the hindu Trivurti and their counterparts. Six possible answers with the Pasadena Beeps (and THEIR counterpart the Peeps) tying and splitting the pitcher o beer. 
It was a Peeps night, dominating the evening and taking first, with the Beeps taking second and Second Cousins taking third.

Pre Halloween show! 

It's always fun picking music around this time of year. Had some Boingo in there and a little Nightmare Before Xmas. 

It was back and forth tonight with the top three shuffling around between three teams. You Thought We Smelled Bad on the Outside  took third with Pasadena Peeps taking second and a huge double down in the final round enabled Second Cousins to take first. Way to defy your team name! Turns out being a giant Stephen King fan pays off sometimes (list King's first ten novels).

For the drinking round I had them draw a jack o lantern, I picked my favorite (pictures are included) and congrats to Pasadena Beeeeeeeeps for a spooky one which also included me in the drawing 😉

The dodgers were at it again but this week it wasn't crazy like last week so I and I think our king trivia enthusiasts are grateful! Was able to set up and start on time. The meetup group Pasadena Peeps has been thriving, their group has been so big for weeks that they have had to divide a la mitosis into two groups. I could see the virtual spindle fibers at work. They prevailed once again with the top two spots and Trivia Rodrigo (they also grew by 2x) took third. It was Team Keanu that perfected the drinking round. I asked the teams to name off the six direwolves raised by the Stark children in A Game of Thrones. They got all six right (Greywind, Lady, Summer, Nymeria, Shaggydog and Ghost).
