QUIZ RECAP

Seems like Barney's isn't seating as many people on the patio now, and they are reserving a table for the quizmaster at one end. Before, we had so many groups finishing up a football game for Thursday Night Football so it's nice that they are accommodating us outside now. 

The night progressed with Second Cousins and You Thought We Smelled Bad on the Outside with a neck and neck tie for first during the initial three rounds. Pasadena Beeps pulled ahead though and claimed first with You Thought We Smelled taking second and Second Cousins securing third. 

For the drinking round, I had them guess what the seven busiest stations are in the London underground as of 2018. This proved to be quite challenging with Pasadena Beeps and Pasadena Peeps breaking a tie of two correct, and the later securing the win and a pitcher of beer.

QUIZ RECAP

After a wee bit of trouble connecting my pc to the PA, finally got the music up and running and the show going. It is starting to get a tad nippy outside on the patio (with such warm temps during the day, odd how at night it cools down, desert climate anyone- LA folks are sensitive, ok?), but we were blessed that there was no game (or was it already over?) on the tv's, which means we had a nice empty patio. With plenty of room to table up for trivia, we expanded our craniums with facts and even had a limbo contest for the drinking round! Been meaning to try this for a while, I had one of the Second Cousins (thanks, Ben!) help me hold a yard stick (see pix) for the limbo. Some teams dropped out or took a knee right away, but it came down to reps from Purple Monkey Dishwasher and Raiders at the end, with Raiders prevailing. Second Cousins took 3rd tonight, with Purple Monkey Dishwasher taking second and Pasadena Peeps rocking first with an impressive score. See y'all next week!

QUIZ RECAP

This was a game to remember! We had rivaleries, coalitions, and and doppelgänger names between Pasadena Peeps and Pasadena Pals. There wasn't an empty seat in the house! After an emotional first leg of the trivia and an ABBA themed drinking round, teams began to buckle down to prep for a win (or lose). But finally - Pasadena Pals took the KT victory!
