QUIZ RECAP

I've been waiting for a quieter night like this to do a particular drinking round: Flip Cup! I could do heats with a larger group but then there's the lack of table space upon which to do it. All teams went at it simultaneously and Purple Monkey Dishwasher was victorious and won some beer 🙂 In the end, Pasadena Peeps took third and insisted on a photo that is, of course, Peeps! That is, the edible kind. We Should Be in Bed took second and Da Bears returned to to take first, fun night, thanks y'all!

Ohh keep the chemistry questions coming, King Trivia- Acidic Cleavage is a group of chemistry majors and since they've been playing there has been at least one chemistry-related question every week. Let's keep it going!

Welp, this week the Pasadena Peeps has an unusual week in that they didn't place. Instead, Club Obi-Wan took third and a tie was broken by I Quiz in Your General Direction to take first with PhilosoRaptors taking second.

Congrats to Make it Reign for knowing the full name of Los Angeles and getting closest to it (El Pueblo de Nuestra Se?ora La Reina de los ?ngeles del R?o de Porci?ncula)- they got 11 out of the 14 words!

Possibly the first time all teams were registered- nice since I didn't need to make the announcement on why some teams got two extra points in round one 😉

QUIZ RECAP

After a week off for Thanksgiving Thursday, we were back at it at Barney's Pasadena. Missing a couple of regular teams, we had a good time all the same, with the drinking round being won by Brain Farts. I had the teams make paper airplanes and the team that got theirs closest to me (my feet) won. Brain Farts also took third place, with Purple Monkey Dishwasher just missing out on gold, and Pasadenian Toothfish taking first.
