Smaller numbers does not mean less fun. We had seven teams that battled it out tonight, for the drinking round I had them name as many great houses (and house words) they could from Game of Thrones- a point for each house and house words. We had a tie so I had them guess how many total houses are known in the Game of Thrones world and they guessed so low! Da Bears beat out Pasadena Peeps but donated their pitcher to a lower points team. Always admirable. Who knew there were 463 houses ? Kudos to Pasadena Peeps for dominating and getting all the marshmallows correct in the last round.

Slower night for par here at Barney's. I'm getting better with everyone's names, individual players that is. In honor of the first academy awards being held on this date in 1929, I had them guess what the 12 categories were back then. Kudos to the Pasadena Peeps' satellite team, Mutual Admiration Society (who barely lost 1st place in the final round) for getting 7 out of 12 correct. The Second Cousins made a return tonight after several weeks off, but it was Da Bears who prevailed with a double down on the final round, with Purple Monkey Dishwasher taking third place. Had some fun with the music selections tonight, folks seemed to enjoy it as well.

I've started to get to know some players recently. I've been learning names and there was a fun moment when a player from PhilosoRaptors asked if I could repeat a question to which I responded, "I always do, Greg."

Got a few compliments for my playlist tonight, particularly a song from the Willow soundtrack, which some people recognized. Glad to finally play something from this fantastic score, thanks to the Willow Smith question!

Pasadena Peeps stayed on top of the leaderboard all game and had a perfect game going for most rounds, successfully doubling on all but two. Congrats to them, We Get Buckets, and newcomers (or been a whiles) Giant's Milk for Ghost who also won the drinking round!
