They showed up and showed out in Westwood again at a Barney's Beanery King Trivia Wednesday night.  36 more teams played for the title of weekly champ and $100 in Barney's cash. Coming from well behind with 3 double or nothing rounds to close the game, Time Gds were our weekly champion.  After closing the game to 1 by identifying Tarzan two rounds before the 2nd place team... Space Ladies couldn't quite fill the gap, finishing in 3rd, 1 point behind our Jacksonville Jaguar enthusiast team, War Bortles.  See ya'll next Wednesday!

Guess what? School's back and 40+ teams on Wednesday night were out to prove it. A lively, loud, and lengthy game was won on the strength of double or nothing mania -- 1st and 2nd place came down to Gucci Gang versus Jeff & all of his children -- a keen and oddly specific knowledge of MLS teams existing in 1996 proved the difference.  A last round successful double up propelled Gucci Gang into first.  Jeff and his kids settled nicely into 2nd and the $50 prize, while Jonas Brother Purity Ring held down third place.  Nice and competitive, with some rivalries brewing, and 200 people playing trivia.

School may not be back in session -- but competition was, and 2018 brought King Trivia back to Barneys to get the winter/spring session off right.  Nearly 20 teams in total competed for the Barney's prizes -- and headed into round 5, five teams were separated by 3 points -- connecting "foot," checking double or nothing, helped coasted Lindsay Lohan's Lost Twin to an early lead, a slim mid-round deficit, then to a 10 point victory.  Damnit Brenda stayed strong through out, using a 6th round dbl or nothing to get themselves second. Moving deck chairs around on the Titanic might be pointless, but being on the Swim Team earns you 3rd place.  Expecting a packed house next Wednesday, will Lindsay's twin be back to defend her title?
