It was a quiet and cozy evening at Billingsley's Restaurant in Sawtelle. People munched on the steakhouse selects and remembered the glorious days of old. Among the crowd was a group of friends, bonded in unity by their passion for trivia and occasionally making fun of their friend's Catholic upbringing. This was Bert Walk Crew, a group of King Trivia vets who decided to take an evening down memory lane and relive their past conquests.

The other participants for the evening included the extremely confident Rolling Stones, who were a lot like the actual Rolling Stones in regards to alcohol consumption. Then, there was team Tiger, a solo act of one man desperately trying to win a trivia game while simultaneously handling a business call in the middle of a restaurant bar.

It was splendid evening, and the wily Bert Walk Crew finished on top with an even 40 points.

Speaking of 40, a gentleman shrouded in mystique was celebrating his 40th wedding anniversary at Billingsley. He asked me if I knew the exact date of the U.S. moon landing. If you don't know, it's July 20th, 1969. Then he asked all the other tables the same question. He didn't actually play trivia with us, but what a fun guy!

Until next time friends.
