As October drew to a close on Wednesday night, two teams battled it out for the top prize, also game even of the world series happened.
The Goose Hates John started the night with a perfect round, but without a double down they settled for 8 (Those registered team bonus points always come in handy!)
During the Guess Who round, Oscar De La Bob guessed the right Price when they guessed Vincent Price which was right! The Goose Hates John got got by guessing Getty so missed the point and also lost one.
Round Six had teams connecting the first lines of novels to their titles. De La Bob didn't double down but did do delightfully well. Getting 10 right. The Goose Hates John just jumped the gun and shot themselves in the foot with a double down in an imperfect round.
At the end of the night the Nationals and Oscar De La Bob were remembered as the evenings' winners, but the Astros and The Goose Hates John gave each team a respective run for their money.

Oscar De La Bob may have held a substantial lead for the night, but all tonight's teams brought their A-game!
Oscar's lead started in round 2 with a perfect double down though Blue Pen and Pum Pum were super close to being perfect too.
The Guess Where round caught teams off guard from the start but recent events helped them correctly identify Hong Kong.
All teams got at least 8 right in round six but Bob not doubling down still gave the other teams hope heading into the final round of the night.
Bob has a well-earned victory at the night's end but Pum Pum and Blue Pen Squad gave them a run for their gift cards.

Wednesday night means its King Trivia night at Blaqhaus. Oscar De La Bob came in looking to take the top prize but the aptly named house team Blaqhaus, were not going to let them win that easily.
Blaqhaus nailed the round 2 picture round and doubled down giving them a lead over Oscar early in the night.
Oscar came back in round 4 buy correctly guessing Sandra Oh before Blaqhaus could.
By nights' end, Oscar De La Bob came back and took the lead all the way to the bank, winning themselves some well-earned gift cards.
