Five mighty group takes on the first trivia event of the new year! With my odd mix of delightful throwback music and some classic dad jokes, our teams battled General Knowledge, a cosmic themed Find the Connection round, and the most intriguing Picture Round this host has ever had the pleasure to test players on! From Rastafarianism to Ghost in a Shell, these players had so much fun battling for the top placement. In the end, formidable team 10 feet off Beale came out on top smelling like roses! See you all next week!

QUIZ RECAP
The last Trivia night at Brick and Beam for 2021, and we went out with a bang. Many bad jokes were told (mostly by the host), and many triumphs were shared. Audible gasps were heard when certain answers were revealed (my absolute favorite), and seven fantastic teams battled for the trophy (aka gift card). A power struggle between the top four teams ensued from the very beginning of the night. One second Jersey shore cast was #1, the next it was CaseJag MiKilla. But in the end Horny patriot pulled in front of the pack with an excellent use of the Double or Nothing button and some great knowledge of Mogwai's and Fight Club. Happy New Year everyone! Can't wait to play with you all again in 2022!

QUIZ RECAP
We had a lovely pre-Christmas game at Brick and Beam last night! Three teams set out to bring the candycane home for Santa: New-to-Brick-and-Beam-team Grippy Socks 2.0 came in fresh and ready to steal the crown from our two regulars, 10 feet off of Beale and Fashionable Gay Plants. Our general knowledge round had the teams feeling fancy free with the ease of Christmas-centric trivia; however all changed in our last two rounds when horticulture and air travel became prevalent. It was a valiant battle amongst the three, but the top team, with 48 points, was 10 feet off of Beale! A massive congratulations to them, and all teams involved.
