QUIZ RECAP

It may have been a cool and foggy evening outside, but the trivia inside Brouwerij West was at smoking as a cat on a hot tin roof Wednesday night. Ten teams fought it out for supremacy in the trivia free-for-all, with several lead changes throughout the night. At one point, after Round 4, Abel's Table was in second to last place, but a few well-timed Double or Nothing placements helped to rocket them to a third-place finish by the end of the evening. Similarly, eventual second-place finishers What What!?! and eventual winners Jaws The Movie The Game were also not in the top three at the midway mark of the game, which only proves you should never give up at King Trivia, even if things look bleak.

A good time was had by all, and it was nice to guest-host at the place where friends and family suggested that maybe I might make a good Quizmaster too two years ago.

QUIZ RECAP

This Thanksgiving I'm greatful for all the teams that came to play trivia the day before Thanksgiving. We had a great crowd and lots of new teams! Team Pop Fizz Clink were our first place winners last night with a point total of 70. They received a $50 gift card and basked in the first place glory. Second place went to team What What?!?! who came in with 62 points and received a $25 gift card. And third in our winners circle went to The Tipsy Redcoat and Black Mamba with 55 points and a $15 gift card. Great job, everybody!

QUIZ RECAP

Jaws the Movie the Team had their thinking caps on last night and double downed in several rounds which boosted them to first place with 78 points. They will be enjoying the glory and a $50 gift card. Second place last night went to Where's the Whiskey who jumped up to second place during the last round with 69 points which earned them a $25 gift card. Third place went to team All American who earned 66 points and a $15 gift card. Great job, everybody!
