QUIZ RECAP
A tough game this week! Only two teams got a correct Guess Who? guess, only half our teams got the Find the Connection connection, and nearly all the doubles were gobbled up by the first-place team.
In the end, it was Counter Intelligence who grabbed first with 77 points! Their doubles in Rounds 1, 2, and 5 launched and kept them ahead of the competition. Second went to Brewsual Suspects at 50 points! Their Round 2 double was good insurance for their later incorrect Round 4 guess. In third came Cool Story Brew with 42 points! Their consistently high scores kept them nine points ahead of their next competitors. Well done, all teams!

Warm and plump from our holiday meals, our trivians gathered for one last game of the year before we all prepare to throw out our calendars. I don't know about you all, but my 2019 resolutions include more trivia. And on that subject...
In the end, it was The Test Tickles who scored first with a whopping 87 points! They doubled in Rounds 2, 3, 6, and 7; this week their team included an incredible young lady who listed, from memory, all 39(ish) Shakespeare plays. Next up was Jeffrey Dahmer's House of Ribs with 69 points! Their unsuccessful Round 2 double attempt was made up for with a double in Rounds 2, 3, and 6. Third went to Team Kavanova with 61 points! They got that 20-point Round 6 double, and managed to stay just one point ahead of the fourth-place team. Well done, all teams!
This Quizmaster greatly looks forward to playing with you all once again in the new year. Thank you for a wonderful 2018, and here's to new experiences and new trivia!

Our last show before Christmas, and you KNOW your Quizmaster was feeling festive! We even had the yule log burning on the projector screen. It may be chilly outside (and inside) the brewery, but we're warm with trivia cheer.
In the end, it was We Suck at Trivia who took the 60-point top spot after a tiebreaker win! They just got the edge over The Test Tickles by getting pretty darn close to that 51-foot candy cane (metaphorically, of course). The two teams scored almost identically throughout each round. In third came Cool Princess 500 with 55 points! Their incorrect Guess Where? round was followed immediately by a successful 20-point double in Round 6. Well done, all teams!
