QUIZ RECAP
A roundly solid game this week, with steady scores and the occasional jab at big points. Eleven teams duked it out, and a few came within breathing distance of those big prizes.
In the end, it was Counter Intelligence who came away with first prize with 50 points. They only doubled in the first round; the rest of the game, they just put up steady points until the end. Second this week was That's A Tasty Burger! with 46 points, including a Round 2 double followed by steady points. In third came Say What? with 45 points, narrowly missing that second spot. They too only doubled in Round 1. It's not all about doubles all the time; those steady points will get you far, folks.
P.S. There's a picture of your humble Quizmaster up above because someone said I always looked nice in my spot before the barrels! Thanks, team member, for the compliment and the snapshot. They are some nice barrels.

QUIZ RECAP
It was a wild race to the finish this week! A wide-open start became an airtight middle which became a tiebreaker end. There were fifteen successful doubles, along with six successful 10-point guesses in Round 5. Count on y'all to make it a good game every week.
In the end The Bar came out on top with 74 points, but as they cannot win the prize, that $50 gift card went to Double That Shit!, right behind with 73 points. The next two teams faced a tiebreaker in which Wannabe Vegans narrowly beat out The Test Tickles, earning them the second- and third-place prizes respectively. Well done, teams!
Shout out to two members of The Bar: one, the hero who brought me the paper cutter (pictured above), and two, whoever drew the adorable Pokey on their Round 5 answer sheet. Good things.

Wednesday nights without Brouwerij West in my life? No thanks. So very glad to be back this week, and what a round we had! Big leaps, tough setbacks, and the indomitable spirit of stalwart teams. Round 3 saw six unsuccessful double attempts. Round 5 saw nine successful doubles. It was a ball.
In the end, Wakanda Forever rose triumphant to the top spot with 81 entire points. They were followed right behind by Smarty Pints (tiebreaker winner!) and Counter Intelligence with 79 points each. In fact, the top five teams were all within 5 points of each other. Well done, teams!
Also, Wakanda Forever promised to come in costume next week. Okay, "promised" may be too strong a word. I just hoped that by putting it out there, it might come true. A Quizmaster can dream.
