QUIZ RECAP

Happy December! Which means it was time to bust out my Christmas suit & tie shirt! 'Tis the season. And 'tis always the season...for trivia!

Inside Burke-Gilman Brewery was packed and the energy was super high this evening. I found out that it was because many of these guests knew each other from working at Seattle Children's hospital. They divided themselves into 4 teams based on their departments and went against each other. It didn't seem like they cared if they were on top or not, just as long as they were beating the others. With the announcing of each answer, there were lots of enthusiastic claps and cheering from these guys. Tons of excitement throughout.

While they were busy competing and cheering with/against each other, our regulars and some new teams pressed forward in the midst of all the craziness. In the end, it was the Empty Nesters who got in 3rd place. The Drug Dealers, whom I believe work at the pharmacy department (at least we hope!), placed 2nd. And taking home the 1st place prize was...for the first time...The Know-Nothings, who have risen to the top! They definitely knew some things.

What a fun and energetic crowd it was. So good to be a part of it. Already looking forward to next week!

QUIZ RECAP

It was the last day of November and we were back together here to play trivia! Indeed, always a joy to see familiar faces. Especially great to see those I haven't seen in a long time - like the Sexy Psychometrists (aka Norm's wife & not Ann). Team Kelly was celebrating Kelly's birthday and we got to sing to her as well. And nice to meet BillieDaLandSeal's Chiweenie Billie who looks like a land seal.

Who was going to come in first place this evening? Dewey Ever! came in 3rd place. Let's Get Kraken came back after a couple weeks off and got 2nd place. First place...went to Uh...What day is this? Uh...it's the day you got 1st place for the first time! Nice.

Let's get ready for more trivia this December as we get into the spirit of the holidays!

QUIZ RECAP

It's Thanksgiving week and it's time to get together with loved ones. But first, we gotta get together with old & new friends...for a TRIVIA PARTY! That's right...trivia here was not just an activity or a night...it was a PARTY! The crowd poured in, the place got packed, the energy went up, and you can feel the excitement at Burke Gilman Brewery. 

21 teams. A big group outside celebrating someone getting a doctorate. My wife even got a team together with some of her co-worker friends to join in the fun. We got everyone to sing happy birthday to our fabulous friend Jill. It was a blast.

2 hours of fun-filled trivia. 7 rounds. Drinks and merriment in between. In the end, the Know-Nothings's hard work paid off as they came in 3rd this evening. Winston's Boat did it again as they placed 2nd. And for the second time, Chillvaxxin' won 1st place!

My wife's team The Radminz realized what a challenge this trivia was. They came in a little overly confident but soon realized they were getting answers wrong. But they still had tons of fun. As coach Ted Lasso puts it, "Winning is fun, but if you find a family along the way, you can’t lose."
