Like much of California, Ventura County agriculture and farming has played a vital role in the development of the communities here throughout time. The mild climate and rich soil allows for several harvests throughout the year making it one of the most valuable resources here. For these reasons the farmhouse style is a perfect style to refresh during a warm dry winter and a mild summer day alike from one harvest to the next. Our beer uses fruit, purchased directly from the farmers who grow them, and are used in season as available. Further influence is found in the food ingredients and diverse cultural traditions of the people who shaped the California of today.

We had a big turnout for Trivia Night at Casa Agria! New teams, new players, and our regulars. The Town Drunk took first place by himself! Los Aztecas came in second with a strong showing. The game was close the entire night with as little as 5 points separating all the teams.

Trivia + beer + friends = a fun night!

Great times in Oxnard after a much needed rain storm. We had a large group playing tonight. Cousins With Benefits won First Place with Bobby y Los Dinos coming in a close Second. More teams tonight led to more fun. Intriguing questions, good beer, and great friends equals fun times!

Another great trivia night at Casa Agria. Two new teams joined in on the fun tonight. One was local, the other group travelled from Simi Valley. Bobby y Los Dinos racked up the points on their way to winning tonight. We Give Up did no such thing and climbed out of the cellar to place second. Jingle the Balls were the group from Simi Valley and enjoyed the first trivia night. The questions were fun and complex, the beer was excellent, and Sabor a Malibu provided great food tonight.
