The team on a tear, DGDP, put their win streak on the line this overcast May Gray evening in the seaside Hamlet that is Dana Point. They were challenged by the Dinkers and frequent players Degrees That Matter in an intimate yet hard-fought game of pub trivia. 

DGDP took a healthy lead into Round 6 but were caught and surpassed when the Dinkers were able to successfully double by matching famous rappers to their associated musical acts. That proved to be the difference as both teams posted identical scores in Round 7 and the Dinkers held onto their lead.

New team on top, who's going to come knock 'em off next Wednesday at 7:00?

Ocean breezes and positive hump day vibes flowed through Delahunt's Taproom and Taqueria and provided a great venue and atmosphere for a trivia showdown. 

Locals DGDP put their 4 week win streak on the line and were pressed by the Dinkers who trailed by a single point going into the final and deciding round which asked teams to identify the sponsors who had spent the most on Super Bowl advertising going back to the inception of the crown jewel of American sporting events. "Watching for the commercials" paid off for the defending Champs as they ran their streak to five consecutive games. 

Come take a shot at excellent food, beer, and trivia competition next Wednesday at 7:00. There are definitely worse ways to close out your hump day.
