It was an epic showdown at this week’s trivia night, with Deez Whiz Kids and Twins neck-and-neck at the very end. Twins burst into the top 3 with a successful double-or-nothing in round 6 - and almost took home first place! It all came down to the tie-breaker question about the attendance at the 2024 World Series, and it was Deez Whiz Kids who clinched the victory. Phrasing put up a strong fight, securing third place with 41 points. Another trivia showdown in the books. After many twists and turns, returning champions "Cheez whiz kids" took the top spot with a sharp 48 points, narrowly edging out newcomers "DJ!" (who held the lead for most of the game.) "Birds Aren’t Real" soared into third, while "Wutang Clam" and "This Could Have Been an Email" rounded out our game with pun-filled pride.
