What happens when your trivia night coincides with an exciting game on on the big screen? You all yell as loud (or louder) than the cheering sports fanatics, of course! And what happens when one of your rounds happens to rely heavily on sports knowledge? You watch as the sports fans try to hold in their answers because they aren't playing trivia and you keep telling them, "See, this is why you should play trivia!" of course! While my game starts promptly at 8 PM every Tuesday evening, some of my players tend to trickle in whenever they feel like it. Luckily, most teams are up for the challenge of jumping into a game two rounds behind because as long as they haven't missed the drinking round (their words, not mine), then everything will be juuuuuuuust fine. Are you telling me that a free pitcher of beer is more important to you than the glory of winning a game of King Trivia at your local pizza joint and all of the accolades (I can't think of them right now; give me a minute...) that follow?! How dare you!

Welp, we had a killer tiebreaker and a successful double-down during tonight's trivia, so overall I'd call it a pretty good game! Team Science came out on top in the end (doesn't it always?), initially taking the #1 spot when they correctly identified a bunch of foreign currency (talk about a big payoff--Eh? Anyone?) Anyway, Science ultimately beat Pizza Milk by a cool 20-or-so points. Perhaps the rotten luck comes from the team name. Pizza milk is culinary blasphemy, I tell you! And it freaks me out!
