Group Blind Date had an almost-perfect game, but they failed to double in the correct rounds. Still, they ended up a solid 3rd place.
Give me a sec took a successful double in round 3, a 10-point Guess Where, and generally high scores to 2nd.
Dude was much the same, but their successful double was in round 6, locking in the win.

Five Threads was packed to the gills with trivia players!
Pick Me Up and Dude were running neck-and-neck the whole night. Successful doubles in round 1 and 2, with Pick Me Up squeaking a couple of points ahead only to have Dude close the gap on the final round. It all came down to the tie-breaker, and while Dude's guess was waaaay over, Pick Me Up had a guess that was crazy close, running off with 1st place!
Matt rode a successful double in round 1 and 10-point Guess Who to stay ahead and take 3rd.
Rumor has it that if we keep up this kind of showing, Five Threads may be able to expand and give us more room to play (and drink) in, so make sure the brews keep flowing!

Rousing start to this one. Three teams doubled rd 1, while two others doubled rd 2. When the dust settled, Dude Where's My Bar and Ghie Buttersnaps were tied atop the board, while Quiz in My Pants & I am #4 were in their own tie right behind them.
Rd 3 was sedate, but rd 4 was surprisingly difficult, with a couple of 8s, but 5 wrong answers, most of which were at the 6pt clue or lower. Coming out of rd 4, DWMB, with 8 took over the lead, while Ghie faltered. #4 rose to the 2nd position, while Quiz also faltered.
Rd 5 saw no change in standing, but rd 6 is when the rubber met the road. 7 teams had perfect scores, but only 4 doubled. #4 was the biggest victim of that decision, as two of the three placers passed them and then held serve in rd 7.
Bees?'s double in rd 6 squeezed them past #4 for 3rd place. Ghie could not quite recover from the misstep in rd4, and settled for 2nd place, behind the victorious DWMB.
