Even more so than usual, Five Threads was packed to the gills with folks ready for a night of trivia and brews!
Army, GBD, Mathilda, and O'Neils kicked things into high gear right from the start with successful doubles in round 1. Most of the teams successfully doubled in round 2, and most the teams scored decently in round 3.
GBD stacked a third successful double (in round 6) on top of their previous 2 to lock in 1st place. Mathilda and the O'Neils battled it out all the way to the end. Mathilda took the tie-breaker for 2nd place.
Army was just a single point outside of top 3, still 9 points ahead of their next-closest competitor.

Things got off to a bit of a funny start as one team showed me there were two possible answers for one of the round 1 questions. Corrected scores meant Rides, Stone, and Zeppelin led off with successful doubles.
Round 2 was a little rough on our teams, and only Mathilda did well in round 3 (but lacked the confidence to double). It wasn't until the 4-point level that people successfully Guessed Who, making that one tough, too.
Then, Sucks came out with a successful double in round 5 and the final round to snatch 1st place. GBD and Zepellin had successful doubles in round 6 to take 2nd and 3rd respectively. Stone came in just a single point away from placing.

Dude kicked things off tonight with a successful double in round 2. Even though they could have doubled in rounds 3 and 6 as well, they kept on top of the pack all night.
GBD found themselves a little short on players tonight, but they proved they still had what it takes. A successful double in round 3 along with decent scores kept them just ahead of the rest of the pack to take 2nd.
Splinter Stone and the "B" Team came down to the wire for 3rd. Unfortunately, "B" was just a hair over on the tie-breaker question, leaving Stone to take home the 3rd place prize.
