QUIZ RECAP

I was eagerly awaiting my first night at Flatstick Pub and this bar/restaurant/miniature golf establishment did not disappoint.  Rounds tonight ranged from former child stars as they appear in 2022 to actors with rock bands.  Our teams got off to a strong start in our first round with multiple teams acing the questions, but no one was feeling brave enough to go for the double or nothing.  Starting in round three, teams Brain Fart and Steve’s Team were in a dead heat that didn’t break until round six, but it was only by a single point.  Teams The Fluffers and Queeries Answered were also hot on their tails throughout the game.  In the end, it all came down to our final round, which asked our intrepid teams about the most visited national parks in 2021.

When the dust settled, team Steve’s Team won the coveted first place spot of the night (and a $30 gift card) while team Brain Fart took second place (and a $20 gift card).  The Fluffers took the third place spot along with a $10 gift card.  Come around on Tuesdays at 7:00 for drinks, trivia, and the kind of camaraderie that can only be forged between individuals that have gone through the trivia gauntlet and come out the other side (mostly) unscathed.

Thanks to everyone at Flatstick Pub for making our first night there AMAZING! The quizzers did an amazing job at our first regular KT trivia night! 

Our teams were in paradise, battling their way through questions about hip-hop artists, Coldplay songs, and.....sports. Although clearly no one was checking clocks as they embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. Several teams took advantage of our "double down" feature to viva la vida. Im sure more teams would have, but they were yellow. 

But like magic,  "No outside food or drinks allowed" went up&up with no trouble and finished in their place: first! SpaceBears and Twinsies had to go to sudden death with Twinsies winning the tiebreaker. Sadly, despite appealing to a higher power, we had to let somebody go and it was the SpaceBears, taking third place.
