Fratelli's is always a great place to host and play. The regulars welcome new teams and its not hard to find friendly banter between the teams. If there is going to be competition the teams here always demonstrate how it should be played.
We had a new team join us this evening and while they had to leave after 6 rounds, they held their own and when they return they will give our regulars a run for their money.
It was a close game tonight, we had two of our regular teams tied at 51 going into our final round. In the last round, one team scored 5 and the other scored 6 points to barely pull ahead for the win.

Tonight's quiz at Fratelli's started late, due to Quizmaster maLfunktion. Thanks to all the pLayers and teams who stuck around to pLay, and for the warm ovation upon my tardy entrance.
We began the quiz with what would normally be Round 6, the matching round. It was a close finish, but team Digressionary Funds had the stamina to withstand a late surge by Team Gomez to take first place. The Goonies held down third place with their large team.
Fratelli's is one of our more intimate and colegial venues; it's not uncommon to see players from different teams chatting with their opponents. That's not always the case, and it's nice to see. Tonight's King Trivia Pub Quiz at Fratelli's was a close contest, with mere points separating the winners. Team Val's Pals led most of the way, and finished with 65 in First Place. Santa's Dreidels had 63 in Second, and Saticoy Steal had 61 for Third.
