The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).
The Bad Explainers (photo #2) were merciless in their dominance this week at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale. They walked away with the win and $50 gift certificate with a strong score of 94.
Heiroglyphic Buttjam (photo #1) didn't make it easy for them though, overcoming a slow start to finish second with an 83. Sesame Streetwalkers (phot #3) made the battle for second place (and the attendant $35 gift card) a battle royale, finishing just one point shy of the Buttjammers with a score of 82.
It was fun! It was exciting! And it all played out with a tinge of sadness, as we said goodbye to everybody's favorite barman, RJ, who was working his last night in the sideyard patio, as a result of the promotion he's been given. Yup! RJ's moving up to management, and we're happy for him.
He promised to come in on Tuesday and become a player, so we're down one barman, and up one competitor!
