The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).

It was another big, raucous, fun-filled night at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale this week, as nearly two dozen teams of stalwart quizinators gathered to do battle in one of the most delightful settings in the King Trivia kingdom.
In an impressive display of come-back determination, Perfect Strangers - which finished in a distant 15th place just a week earlier - devastated all competition to win the night with an impressive 72 points.
Trashley Wards didn't make it easy for 'em, though. The Wards battled the Stangers right to the end, and the slim two-point margin of victory serves to illustrate the high level of competition that exists at this venue!
Indeed, six teams finished the night with 60 points or better, which means that if you're gonna quiz at Golden Road, you need to bring your "A" game. Anything less, and you might find yourself using a team name like My Teamates Suck!

It was evening of overachieving (and underachieving) this week at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale. The over-performing stalwarts calling themselves Those People orchestrated a 15-position jump from last week to finish at the top of the leaderboard with a very impressive 84-point performance!
That's a 37-point improvement over their previous week's total! Sheesh, friends! What did you have for breakfast!? We gotta get us some of THAT!
At the other end of the spectrum was the intrepid group called Trashley Wards - a terrific collection of quizzers who logged a solid 71 points last week, but finished 50 points lighter this week as a result of not one; not two, but three unsuccessful double-or-nothing attempts in a row. Man, that's gotta sting!
But I'm not worried! I said, they're intrepid. And tenacious. They'll bounce back, and so will we. Next week, on the patio at Golden Road. See ya then!
