QUIZ RECAP

The night got real roudy, real quick...powered by a large group showing up for trivia to celebrate a birthday! The music was grooving, the groove was jiving, the beer was flowing, and the trivia was flying.  The entire night was taken in by everyone there and you could tell by the energy in the place.

New teams were excited to try quiz for the first time and old teams were cracking their knuckles in preparation for another round.  The first two rounds came and went with all teams scoring relatively close.  Then came the Guess Who round...

There must have not been very many soccer fans in the house because teams didn't start sending their answers in until the 6 point clue.  Most sent it in at the 2 point clue!  And unfortunately, many still missed it 🙂

After that, there were either some extremely confident OR extremely desperate teams because they were throwing around Double or Nothing like it was candy.  So scores fluctuated up until the last 2 rounds when 4 teams set themselves apart.  In the end, there was a tie for 1st between SYG and Grande Chi Chi's and SYG solidified their victory with a brilliantly close number to Ca's total square mileage.

So, what can be better than a raucous night full of drinking and trivia...not much.  That's what I would call a Happy Birthday!

QUIZ RECAP

Hey there Quizzers! We had a wild night tonight at Grains of Virtue. 7 teams came out tonight to compete for the prize pool. The brewery was packed and the energy was palpable.

Round 1 was a cluster of teams at the front of the pack. By Round 3 things started to even out and our front runners took their places. By the end of Round 6 we had a pretty clear winner, but by Round 7 it was pretty neck and neck.

Quiz My Ass took home first place. Seannon took home second and the mighty force that is PeePooPeePoo took home our consolation prize.

QUIZ RECAP

Hey there Quizzers! We're back with another Trivia night at Grains of Virtue in beautiful Oakdale, CA. It was a smooth night tonight with 3 teams showing up to throw down.

Round 1 started off with relative ease. All the teams were tied for first place. By Round 5 one of our teams made a bit of a misstep with an ill placed Double or Nothing. By the end of Round 7 they had almost bounced back, but it was not to be. Voldemort took home the first place prize. Quiz My Ass took a close second and The Bordrinkers took home the third place prize.
