QUIZ RECAP

Just like Gandalf returning from certain death at the hands of the mighty balrog, The Lord of the Quiz: Return of the Wesley kicked off with his grand return. The Jedi Knights who say Ni continued their heated rivalry with Masen's Computer, and the Knights were ultimately victorious and Masen's computer came in a very respectable third. The deadly alliance once again proves just how deadly they are and pulled a very easy second place.

QUIZ RECAP

Hello, all!  Quiz Master Lou here, subbing for Quiz Master 

Wes.  (No worries Wesley, I owe you one!)  The crowd on the 

enclosed patio at Heritage Pizza & Taproom were accomodating, 

friendly and competitive.  So were the teams in the main 

dinning area who played from a distance, come to think of 

it...  

And whom did I see in attendance?  None other than one of my 

regular teams, Deadly Alliance!  Man, you guys are trivia 

junkies!  (But we love you for it!)  Also present were the 

Collective Fools, TBD, who won third place, Jedi Knights Who 

Say Ni, who won second and first place victors Masen's Computer. 

There wasn't much in the way of amusing wrong guesses other 

than calling rapper Megan Thee Stallion "Sneaky Pete".  I do 

not believe they were referring to UK footballer Peter Crouch's 

witticism regarding Kanye West, but I could be wrong...  No, 

more amusing, possibly, was Quiz Master Lou's indulgence in 

two of Heritage's KBS Imperial Stouts.  Apparently, it's ABV 

is 12%!  That's two to three times higher than the national 

average of alcohol to beverage!  QM Lou drank the equivalent 

of four to six beers last night!  Wow!  No wonder I was so 

happy!  (BTW, I hear their pizza is pretty good, too.)  

I'm presuming QM Wes will return next week, but I don't wish 

to be presumtuous.  Yet, a fun time was had by all.  Especially 

QM Lou!  Have a great week!

Thanksgiving has come and gone and everyone has come back into town to play trivia once again. For only the second time in the tenure of Quiz master Wesley we had a TIE to end the game. The deadly alliance pulled ahead  of Masen's computer in the sudden death round with their knowledge of dodgers stadium baseball diamond.
